In this 8 week course we’ll look at how you can use your writing to establish yourself as an expert, build your credibility, and earn the trust and respect of your team
We’ll talk about grammar, structure, organizing, planning, language choices, tone of voice, and the importance of keeping your audience’s needs in mind as you write.
I’ll share checklists, templates, and other tools that I use everyday with every message. I’ll give you direct feedback on your writing throughout the course so you know exactly what changes to incorporate as you become a better writer.
Good writing opens doors. Bad writing slams them shut.
I’m a firm believer that being a good writer can make all the difference in not only how you work, but how well you work.
We’ll have time over the next 8 weeks to talk about your style, your audience, and the type of writing that you do every day.
We’ll look at grammar, because you have to in a writing course. We’ll look at my favorite writing tool, the inverted pyramid, and talk about how this structure can simplify your messaging.
We’ll look at your audience and make sure that you are always clear on answering their question “What’s in it for me?”
By the end of the next 8 weeks, you’ll be well on your way to using your writing to establish yourself as an expert, build your credibility, and earn the trust and respect of your team.
